Originating in China, Classical (authentic) Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese metaphysical discipline whose philosophy can be traced back several thousands of years. Classical Feng Shui has been around since the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). In ancient times, Feng Shui was a heavily guarded secret used by the Chinese emperors to maintain power over their dynasties and to increase their personal wealth. It was initially used to identify the best burial sites for imperial gravesites. Later it was used to site palaces, government buildings and other public monuments. Even whole cities were designed and built according to Feng Shui principles.

In Mainland China, the practice of Classical Feng Shui used to be an important part of daily life. However, during the Communist times, Classical Feng Shui was suppressed and its practitioners persecuted due to the false belief that Feng Shui thrives on the superstitions of ordinary people. Since the 80’s, this mindset has loosened and has given new rise and popularity to Classical Feng Shui, helping people to improve and maximise their health, wealth and career potential.

Unfortunately not very well understood and often watered down when practiced in Europe, Classical Feng Shui – when practiced and applied correctly according to its traditional concepts and roots – is an excellent tool to facilitate success in daily life, create a healthy environment in which all occupants of a house or a company can thrive, and bring forth beneficial career opportunities and relationships.

Susanne has been trained and certified by the well-known Joey Yap Mastery Academy of Classical Chinese Metaphysics in Kuala Lumpur/ Malaysia.

Susanne works with the client to understand the client's specific issues and needs, and then advises on the appropriate Feng Shui based remedies. Classical Feng Shui methods and their practical applications are based on very sophisticated calculations and are very complex scientific background that is rooted in the Chinese classics. Remedies used in Classical Feng Shui focus mainly on key areas of your house, such as the Main Door, the bedroom, the kitchen and your study and aim to re-orientate them to tap into the most beneficial Qi available.

Classical Feng Shui is generally used in three situations:

Remedy Existing Problems: Negative Feng Shui within a property, be it a residential or a commercial property, can lead to the accumulation of negative Qi, causing an imbalance of life energy that gradually fills our environment with stress and overall negativity. A Classical Feng Shui practitioner can detect the areas in your home or office that are impacted by these negative Qi flows and make recommendations to either minimise or neutralise the negative outcomes of this bad Feng Shui. In some cases, negative Qi flows can even be reversed and turned into positive energy to benefit your life and work goals.

Enhancing Life Circumstances: Through the evaluation of your property, a Classical Feng Shui practitioner can gauge the inherent Feng Shui potential of the property and detect whether it is prone to prosperity, wealth, harmony, or whether it is more likely to generate negative outcomes - such as sickness, legal problems, career issues, divorce, etc. With the use of this knowledge, the Feng Shui consultant can help clients enhance and strengthen the positive aspects of the property in order to ensure good fortune and focus positive energies on specific outcomes, while at the same time offsetting potential negative outcomes.

Forecasting: A highly trained Classical Feng Shui practitioner is able to forecast future possibilities that lie within the Feng Shui setup of a property. By means of careful examination and calculation of the external and internal Qi flows, as well as the governing stars of the property, a practitioner can predict the forces that impact which resident(s) of a property – and how. Predictions are usually made for a month or a year and will help the individuals to prepare for upcoming situations and take decisions accordingly.

What’s in a Feng Shui Consultation?

Susanne will visit your property (land, house or apartment) and perform the Feng Shui audit in your presence and you are free to ask any questions. Depending on the size of the property and the project scope, as well as your audit requirements, the time involved can vary. A very small project may only require an audit of a couple of hours, whereas a large project or an extensive land and property survey may consume a number of days.

Following the survey, she will prepare an audit report for your reference (approx. 40 pages), which will be sent to you by email within 5 – 7 working days. This report will contain a complete and comprehensive Feng Shui assessment of your property, as well as recommendations and suggested remedies. Susanne will make herself available for up to 2hrs for a post-assessment meeting with the client to go through the report and discuss all questions the client may have.
