"I have known Carla of Balance since 2001 and she has nurtured me through a ruptured disc and arthroscopic hip surgery, besides every day imbalances. Let me go back. At one point I came to Carla with what I thought was an excruciatingly painful muscle spasm. After a brief examination and without elaborating Carla gently recommended I go for an MRI. What she didn't want to tell me was she suspected a ruptured disc. The MRI proved her right. Because of the nature of the rupture, post op I found myself with a 6 cm. scar on my lower back. I returned to Carla immediately so she could begin treatments to prevent adhesions from forming. Quite honestly none did and the scar is now just a faint line.
In 2005 my husband and I moved to Singapore and recently I had hip surgery. The operation went well but again, it was post op when I needed Carla's expertise. As soon as I was allowed to travel I was back in HK at Balance Asia. Carla treated a much traumatized point of entry from the arthroscopic surgery.
