Elaine graduated in 2002 with a BSc Honours degree in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy, London. The degree included extensive study of anatomy, pathology, orthopedics, diagnosis and manual therapies. Since graduating, Elaine has worked in both private clinics and local authority funded projects in the United Kingdom, and multi-disciplinary and GP clinics here in Hong Kong, working alongside General Practitioners, Physiotherapists, and other Osteopaths.
Prior to joining the team at Balance Health Elaine worked at the Vitality Center and OT&P, and enjoyed treating people of all ages with varied complaints, from newborns to seniors. These included joint and muscle pain, headaches, digestive dysfunction and pre/post natal issues.
Elaine participates in continuing professional development in accordance with the General Osteopathic Council of which she is a member. She has undertaken various post-graduate courses including Craniosacral Therapy and Cranial Osteopathy which have enabled her to use profound yet subtle techniques to make deeper changes in patients of all ages.
