TRE® is a series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.

TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance.

The reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. You gain a new tool and autonomy in your pain management process, as well as unwinding built-up tensions.

Anne combines this technique with her experience, intuition and learnings to offer her clients a wide-array of mind-body solutions for recovery and wellness. Her goal is to get you to know your body better and practice TRE® on your own and at your own pace. The benefit of going through this process is that you become more pain-free and stress-proof: you increase your resiliency as well as your feelings of peace and well-being. TRE® is innovative and liberating as it is self- taught, self-administrated and self-regulated.

What does Self-Regulation mean in TRE?

Self-regulation is the ability to tolerate and control ones emotions, thoughts, feelings, and sensations independently of external supervision or regulation. Cognitive neuroscience research suggests that successful self-regulation is dependent on top-down control from the prefrontal cortex over subcortical regions involved in survival and emotion. Self-regulatory collapse is when the individual cannot control their own overwhelming emotions, thoughts, feelings, and sensations.

Grounding, centering, self-awareness, self-regulation, autonomy and resiliency are empowering qualities of being that you will cultivate along the process.

We recommend a series of 6 sessions that you can spread over the next 3 months after we start your TRE process. During these 6 supervised sessions, you learn to initiate, become familiar with, observe and manage your own body natural self-regulating tremors process.
